I was selected to the WPIAL All Section District 7 team and the Char Valley All Tournament team. I am an energetic leader on and off the court. I work hard every day to improve my skills as a volleyball player, a student, and a person. I work out at Strength, Speed, and Fitness to improve my jumping skills as well as overall body tone. I also play fast pitch softball for TJ. I lettered my freshman and sophomore year. My main position is shortstop, however, I played outfield my 1st two years to help the team. I attend Thomas Jefferson High School as a starting varsity defensive specialist: 2012 WPIAL Section Co-Champions. I have been playing volleyball for 5 years starting out in the setter position and switching to the libero/defensive specialist position 3 years ago. I consider myself to be a dedicated athlete. I train on and off the court attending Pittsburgh Strength, Fitness and Speed training 2 times a week and working out at a local gym. I am motivated to do whatever it takes to win. I bring an energetic presence on the court and am usually one of the loudest out there. As one of the team captains on my club team, I strive to motivate my teamates when I’m on and off the court to do their best, stay positive, and pump them up so together we can win.
