Family

I live with both parents who support my goal of playing at the next level. I have an older brother, Ryan, who is 21 years old and was a running back for 6 years when he played football. I have a younger brother, Mitchell, who is 13 years old. Mitchell runs cross country, track and plays baseball. Both my parents grew up playing sports – my dad played football and my mom played softball. My parents are our biggest fans and encourage a balance between athletics and academics. I did play softball for about 6 years when I was younger but once I made the 7th grade volleyball team – that was it for me – I never thought of another sport again. I’ve dedicated myself to playing volleyball year round and I have enjoyed every second of it.

Personal Statement

I think my size and my quickness is a surprise to most. I say this because opponents don’t expect too much from me in the front row. In the back row, I’m quicker and scrappier than you would expect. I have determination and I strive for greatness in what I do whether it’s on or off the court. I may be small but I am fierce.

Goals & Major

I desire to play at Division I level and my goal is to major in Nursing and pursue a Nursing career. I enjoy the challenge of the medical field and have a desire to help and take care of others. I have always been interested in this field and taking care of people brings me great satisfaction because I know I am making a difference.
