My father was a collegiate wrestler. He knows what it takes to succeed and he pushes me to do my best. My mom is a nurse at Childrens Hospital for 20 years and has taught me to be a good person on and off the court. I have a younger brother that also plays football and wrestles. Sports and strong work ethics are embedded in our family

Personal Statement

I am self motivated and goal oriented. I am a team player and I always try to lead by example. I understand that it takes hard work and dedication to succeed and I try to push myself and encourage my teammates to be the best they can be on and off the court. My coach put me in charge of summer conditioning. She knows my work ethic and trusted me to get the team in shape. I have a 3.5 grade point average taking academic classes. I work on the weekends baby sitting or at the local pizza shop.

Goals & Major

I am very interested in the medical field. I recently shadowed a Nurse Anesthetist at Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh and found it very rewarding. I would like to attend a four year college and study nursing and then continue my education to become a Nurse Anesthetist. I would like to continue my volleyball career at the college level where I can contribute and be a part of a team in any position needed.
